AFP, UCU set linkage initiatives

The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) paid a collaborative visit at Urdaneta City University (UCU), establishing partnership initiatives and collaborative programs.

The delegates led by LCDR Chris Brian B. Ascaño PN of AFP Educational Benefit System Office (AFPEBSO) convened with Dr. Sonny Soriano, Director of  the Office of External Affairs and Linkages, and discussed on fostering partnerships that could enhance educational opportunities for military-affiliated individuals.

AFPEBSO highlighted its commitment to supporting the educational pursuits of Armed Forces personnel and their dependents, aligning with UCU's mission to provide quality education.

The meeting established a framework for joint initiatives, ranging from scholarship programs to academic exchanges, and creating avenues that not only empower military families through education but also contribute to the broader academic landscape.

The visit set the stage for a partnership between AFPEBSO and Urdaneta City University, aiming to positively impact the educational journey of the military community by fostering excellence and holistic development.
