CTE participates in CommTECH Nusantara 2023

In an international collaboration, Urdaneta City University, along with 22 universities from various corners of the globe, including China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Colombia, and the Philippines, converged virtually for the Virtual CommTECH Nusantara 2023: Summer Exploration of Indonesia on October 16, 2023. 

Hosted by the prestigious Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember in Indonesia, under the guidance of Dr. Muh. Wahyu Islami PM, the event served as a vibrant platform for knowledge exchange, cultural exploration, and academic synergy, providing a unique opportunity for faculty and students to enrich their experiences.

The active participation of the College of Teacher Education-Human Kinetics, Culture and Arts Department headed by the Dean- Dr. Ryan Jayson delos Reyes and Program Head Prof. Hilarion V. Olimpo showcased the commitment of academic institutions to global collaboration. Faculty members and students from the department contributed valuable insights on the role of education, physical activity, and the arts in fostering holistic development.

Dr. Sonny Soriano, Director of UCU External Affairs and Linkages, also presented his topic on “Writing Research Introduction Using IMRAD Format” which has given notable insights to the participants. 

As the virtual exploration of Indonesia concluded, the echoes of shared knowledge and cultural understanding reverberated across the participating universities. The legacy of Virtual CommTECH Nusantara 2023 lies not only in the valuable insights gained but in the enduring connections forged among faculty and students from diverse backgrounds
