Nursing topnotcher receives cash gift

Micah Junabel M. Ventanilla received on Tuesday a cash incentive worth Php 200,000.00 after finishing fourth topnotcher in the recent Nursing Licensure Examination.

Urdaneta City Mayor Rammy “Julio” F. Parayno III, chairman of the UCU Board of Regents, led the awarding of the cash gift before the officials of Urdaneta City University at the City Hall.

 

Ventanilla scored an 88.40% passing rate leading the 48 new-registered UCU nurses in July. Their batch garnered a 70% institutional passing rate over 64.65% national rating.

 

Present in the event were Atty. Dar A. Diga, Acting University President; Dr. Elisa C. Cristobal, Vice President for Administrative Affairs; Dr. Noel L. Guevara, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Christopher R. Bañez, Dean of the College of Health Sciences; Dr. Alyssa Ashley Robeniol-Malag, Program Head of BS Nursing; Leonard Caluag, Acting Director of the UCU Disaster Risk and Reduction Management Office; and Ma. Jeazrielle Fernandez, Secretary of the Board of Regents.
