In a proactive move to promote responsible vehicle ownership and safe driving practices, the Philippine National Police (PNP) Urdaneta recently organized a highly informative seminar at Urdaneta City University on May 17, 2023.
The seminar called R.O.A.D, an acronym for Responsible Ownership and Driving, aimed to educate the UCU community about the importance of adhering to traffic rules and regulations while emphasizing the significance of responsible ownership and road safety.
Students, university teaching and non-teaching personnel, and local residents attended the seminar to enhance their understanding of traffic laws and lessen Vehicular Traffic Incidents (VTI). Led by a team of experienced traffic police officers and road safety experts, the seminar covered various topics related to responsible ownership and driving practices.
After the discussion, participants received practical tips on car maintenance, such as regular vehicle check-ups, tire pressure monitoring, and the importance of keeping safety features in optimal condition.
This initiative by the Philippine National Police and Urdaneta City University reflects their commitment to raising awareness and educating the public on road safety.
