TIMES HIGHER EDUCATION SUSTAINABILITY IMPACT RANKINGS 2026

Urdaneta City University has once again earned a place in the prestigious Times Higher Education (THE) Sustainability Impact Rankings 2026, reaffirming its unwavering commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Building on last year's strong foundation—where it excelled across 6 of the 17 SDGs, namely SDG 1 (No Poverty), SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being), SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 5 (Gender Equality), SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals)—UCU has expanded its global impact to advance ALL 17 SDGs this year.

Because of these efforts, UCU leaped to an Overall Global Rank of 1001–1500 among 1,603 participating institutions worldwide, a significant rise from its 1501+ rank last year. Further highlighting its regional impact, UCU secured the Rank 1 in Region 1 for multiple key goals, specifically: SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation), SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy), SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), and SDG 15 (Life on Land).
