Day 2: Advancing Classroom Research and Academic Collaboration
The program continued on September 24 at the University Amphitheater, featuring two sessions that connected teaching practice with research and scholarly collaboration.
The morning seminar, "Designing English Classrooms for Motivational and Strategic Agency," engaged faculty members and students from the College of Teacher Education (CTE), particularly the Languages and Social Studies Department, together with English faculty members from the College of Arts and Sciences.
The session explored approaches to designing English learning environments that encourage student motivation, strategic learning, and greater agency in the classroom.
In the afternoon, the Faculty Research Collaboration and Publication seminar shifted the discussion toward scholarly engagement. Faculty participants explored potential areas for academic collaboration while gaining insights into developing research partnerships and translating collaborative work into publishable outputs.#
