With the onset of UCU’s 56th Founding Anniversary, the university marked the start of celebrations by showcasing the many talents of our beloved UCUian students in a Got Talent Show on March 29, 2022 held at the University Gymnasium, which was also aired via Facebook Live.
Dr. Amihan April C. Mella-Alcazar, the newly-appointed Acting University President officially opens the said event.
“I’m very happy to be joining for the very first time ang ating 56th foundation week anniversary celebration…we have a very bright future that we could look forward to… let us all enjoy tonight, at mabuhay po ang Urdaneta City University.”
Different talents were performed by students from the different colleges of the university. A total of 11 participants dared the challenge, but only three reached the top three places.
Dan Maurice Villamar bagged second place, as Joseph Allen Elegado garnered first place. Both students were from the College of Teacher Education. Heralded champion, The Dancing Duo, as participated by Jerson Paul L. Beltran and Jan Jan S. Ragonton, were from the College of Hospitality and Tourism Management.
Truly, students of Urdaneta City University are not just academically-inclined but alstalented
