Urdaneta City jampacked Fiesta 2023

The City Government of Urdaneta celebrated its annual City Fiesta with numerous entertainments last December 1-8.

A Grand Float Parade and Street Dancing kicked off the eight-day celebration, featuring the city officials, pageant candidates, and different sectors in both public and private agencies.

Hon. Julio “Rammy” F. Parayno, City Mayor, mentioned that thanksgiving celebration should be the priority in every event.

Parayno said.

Health advocacies like World AIDS Day, Blood-letting activity, and “ZumBayan” paved more significance in leading the Urdanetanians to a better and healthier community.

Paying homage to their hometown, balikbayans, educators, and senior citizens walked down memory lane during the R’BES Night.

Meanwhile, the business district of the city, stretching from the Giant Carabao Statue to the Urdaneta City Cultural and Sports Complex, transformed into a main street for grilled dishes, locally known as "inihaw," during the Tuno-Tuno Festival, featuring three stations of bands that entertained the entire community.

Urdaneta City also hailed new royalties in the names of Binibining Urdaneta 2023 Allysa Jeneveve Padillion of Brgy. Tiposu, and Miss Gay 2023 Wynzhl Bansagan of Brgy. Nancayasan.

The Urdaneta People’s Park turned into a canvas with the young creative hands during the first-ever Chalk Art Exhibition known as “Kulayan ang Kapistahan,” led by Angelika Domagas and Rose Ashley Valdez.

Mayor Parayno noted that the chalk art will become an annual endeavor in the upcoming fiestas of the city.

Renowned artists, including Ben&Ben, Vice Ganda, Matteo Guidicelli, and Sarah Geronimo, electrified the Urdaneta City Cultural and Sports Complex, igniting an unparalleled atmosphere of exhilaration and entertainment that resonated with audiences of all ages.

With their mesmerizing performances, the echoes of these celebrated artists at the Urdaneta City Cultural and Sports Complex will undoubtedly reverberate through the upcoming fiestas, promising even greater spectacles and unforgettable moments for all who partake in the festivities.
