Students from all colleges, joined by faculty members and deans, took part in the opening parade today, September 29, 2026, setting the stage for days of athletic competition, camaraderie, and college pride.
Adding to the festivities was Freshmen Week, with college booths offering fun activities, games, and prizes for new students, creating more opportunities for interaction beyond the playing field.
The series of events will run from September 29 to October 2, 2026. Here is the lineup of competitions for the week-long SportsFest: Cheers and Yells, Dance Sports, E-Games, and the much-anticipated Mr. and Ms. UCU SportsFest 2026.
The championship matches in Basketball, Volleyball, Arnis, Badminton, Sepak Takraw, Karatedo, and Table Tennis will also be held, following the initial rounds conducted in July and August 2026.
With SportsFest and Freshmen Week happening side by side, UCU opens the celebration of a new academic year with one shared UCU spirit.#
