Academic orientation to cater new and returning students

The Center for Student Leadership and Development (CSLD) welcomed new and returning students of Urdaneta City University as it opened the second semester through a student orientation aired in a BaliTalk episode on Friday, March 25, 2022 via Facebook Live.

“We will provide you support and services. We’re always here to accommodate you, whatever it is that you need, one hundred percent, we will back you up,” assured Dr. Raquel Pascua, the Officer-in-Charge for Administrative Affairs, as she opened the orientation proper.

Moreover, she emphasized to the students that mindset and patience are essential factors in overcoming the hardships and challenges of education in the new normal. 

 

Dr. Amihan April C. Mella-Alcazar, the new acting university president, made her first public appearance before the UCU community since her investiture last Thursday.

She stated that unity inside the academe would bring recognition to the University.i 

 

"Please collaborate and coordinate with all of our efforts in the university towards the improvement, achievement, and realization of our vision for a duly recognized and authorized higher education institution here in region 1 and also in the Philippines. And hopefully we will not only be a home of topnotchers but we will also have excellent students and graduates from Urdaneta City University," emphasized Alcazar.

 

Key offices that cater student concerns oriented the students of their functions, responsibilities, and services that will help them towards their academic journey.
