CCDES conducts Brigada Eskwela Project Year 5

The UCU Center for Community Development and Extension Services (CCDES), conducted the BADANG “Brigada Eskwela Project Year 5” from June 2 to 13, 2025, across its adopted schools.

The extension and outreach program involved the participation of UCU faculty members, employees, and student organizations from various colleges and departments.

Activities included the distribution of school supplies to Grade 1 to 6 students and the provision of office supplies and cleaning materials to classrooms.

Volunteers fixed faulty wirings and appliances, cleaned classrooms, and tidied school surroundings as part of the university's commitment to community engagement.

The schools served were Cabaruan Elementary School and Don Clemente Blanco Elementary School on June 2; Labit West Elementary School and Oltama Elementary School on June 3; and Bactad Community School on June 4.

Camanang Elementary School received support on June 5, followed by Labit National High School on June 9.

Sta. Lucia Elementary School was assisted on June 10, while Don Alipio Fernandez Sr. Integrated School, Tiposu Elementary School, and Cayambanan National High School participated on June 11.

The final beneficiaries on June 13 were Don Rufino Tabayoyong Central School and DAPSMECS Annex.

Participating units included CCDES, Psychological Assessment and Counseling Center, Supply Procurement Management Office, General Services Office, Orata Library, and the Pangasinan Finest Eagles Club.

Meanwhile, colleges involved were Engineering and Architecture, Hospitality and Tourism Management, Business Management and Accountancy, Pharmacy, Teacher Education, Health Sciences, Information and Technology Education, Criminal Justice Education, Human Sciences, and Arts and Sciences.#
