UCU promotes research culture in the campus through advanced seminar-workshop

Urdaneta City University - Center for Training and Professional Development (CTPD), in collaboration with the Research, Statistics, and Business Consultancy, Inc. (RSBCI), successfully concluded a two-day hybrid Advanced Statistical Analysis Seminar-Workshop Series on November 22-23, 2024 held at the University Cafeteria.

 

The seminar-workshop catered to research coordinators and statisticians, offering a comprehensive exploration of advanced statistical techniques. It was designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to conduct rigorous and insightful statistical analyses.

 

Renowned experts in the field, including Dr. Paolo V. Cenas, Engr. Roel D. Supsup, and Dr. Salvacion Beligan, led the intensive hands-on sessions. The program delved into a variety of topics, such as Likert Scale and Sample Size Determination, Factor Analysis, Nearest Neighbor Analysis, and Classification Tree Analysis.

 

By combining face-to-face and online participation, the seminar-workshop provided a flexible and accessible learning experience for participants. The hybrid format allowed for both in-person interaction and remote access, ensuring maximum engagement and knowledge transfer.
