Alaminos LGU visits UCU, benchmarks best practices

In a bid to fortify inter-city connections, the City Government of Alaminos paid a courtesy visit to Urdaneta City University on January 30, 2024. 

 

The delegation, led by Alaminos City Mayor, Hon. Arth Bryan C. Celeste, includes Atty. Walter M. Macaiba, City Administrator; Dr. Emielou E. Gellado, City Government Department Head I; Rowena F. Ruiz, City Budget Officer; Engr. Eduardo A. Garcia, City Planning Development Coordinator; Engr. Bonifacio T. Martinez Jr., City General Services Officer; Engr. Roel N. Camba, City Engineer; Engr. Roland D. Ranches, City Government Assistant Department Head I; Ms. Venus N. Balgua, CGADH I / OIC - City Information Officer; and Arch. Lloyd P. Santos, Supervising Administrative Officer.

 

An exchange between the Alaminos delegation and the key officials of UCU, under the headship of Dr. Amihan April C. Mella-Alcazar, the Acting University President took place, focusing on the university’s operations to identify effective strategies that can be adapted and implemented in Alaminos to enhance community services and overall education quality.

 

By seeking inspiration from UCU, the city aimed to leverage successful practices and methodologies that align with its vision for growth and development.

 

The visit focused on creating a platform for sharing insights, fostering meaningful partnerships, and promoting a cross-pollination of ideas between Alaminos City and Urdaneta City University, a testimony of the university’s dedication to excellence in academic governance and community development.
