CTE produces 60 new professional teachers

Continuing Urdaneta City University’s year streak of professional board passers, 60 graduates of the College of Teacher Education (CTE) successfully passed the September 2021 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) as revealed by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on November 29, 2021. 

 

CTE has produced 50 Licensed Professional Teachers (LPTs) for the secondary level bringing a total of 84.09% institutional passing rate for first-timers and a total of 79.37% overall institutional passing rate against the 57.76 % national overall passing rate this year.

For the elementary level, CTE recorded 10 LPTs giving a 60% institutional passing rate for first-timers and 55.56 % overall institutional passing rate for this year’s LET. 

 

This year’s LET was the first exam conducted by PRC for teachers after its one-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
