Students of the Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (BECE) on Saturday, July 16, staged a children's play as their culminating activity at the end of the academic year 2021-2023.
With the theme, "Young at Heart: A Children's Play," 22 students showcased their skills and talents in the play portraying the preservation and sustainability of environmental resources, taking care of the planet, and the possible circumstances that could happen once humans failed to do their environmental duties.
According to Mr. John Bert A. Peralta, the instructor who handled the Children's Literature and Developmentally Appropriate Practices, educators must not be just academically proficient but also competent outside the four corners of a classroom. He also mentioned that teachers must have an orientation firmly anchored on transformative education and the values and principles of the university.
