The Legal Education Board (LEB) led an inspection visit to the Urdaneta City University - College of Law as part of its constitutionally mandated functions of laying down standards of legal education in the country on Friday, March 25, 2022.
Legal, Legislative, and Judicial Office Head Atty. Jorell Kent Sto. Domingo, Standards Development and Regulatory Head Ms. Blanca Mica Capati-Reyes, and Accreditation Unit OIC Mr. Ranniel Rod Rodriguez teamed up to inspect the downgrading review of the Basic Law Programs of the college. This will determine whether the University can continue the operations of the college.
As a result, the college satisfactorily complied with all the documentary requirements, however, received minor recommendations from the LEB. The board prescribed additional documentary requirements that must be accomplished on April 8, 2022.
These documentary requirements include accounting reports, curriculum enhancement, development plan, and clinical legal education integration.
