PRC lauds UCU as 10th HEI in SWLE

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) recognized Urdaneta City University for its remarkable performance in the September 2022 Social Worker Licensure Examination(SWLE) during the Oath-taking and Induction Ceremony on November 14, 2022, at the Manila Hotel, One Rizal Park, Manila City.

UCU has been officially listed as the 10th higher education institution for social work following the City Colleges of Lucena and the Occidental Mindoro State College in the 9th and 8th spots, respectively.

This recognition is attributed to the university’s performance garnering a whopping 92.31% overall institutional passing rate over the national passing rate of 62.57%.

Further, successful examinees of the SWLE who were able to attend the on-site mass oath-taking ceremony officially took their oath affirming their professional responsibilities as licensed social workers. Meanwhile, those who were not present in the ceremony may request a special oath-taking.

Moreover, PRC and the Board of Social Workers also lauded the top 10 passers of SWLE with an alumnus of the University of the Philippines leading the roster of topnotchers.
