PRC leads institutionalized monitoring on CBMA program

The Professional Regulation Commission – Professional Regulatory Board of Accountancy conducted an institutionalized monitoring of the accountancy program at the Bayan Muna Hall, Urdaneta City University on March 22, 2024.

Hon. Gervacio I. Piator of PRB of Accountancy oversaw the monitoring and ocular inspection on the program Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, encompassing the curriculum, faculty qualifications, student enrolment, physical plant, administration, and management of accountancy program.

Piator was assisted by Professional Regulations Officer III Gladys Reyes of PRC Regional Office 1.

Meanwhile, UCU provided support through the attendance of Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Josephine S. Lambinicio, OIC – Vice President for Administrative Affairs Atty. Michael Henry C. Sevilleja, Director for Accreditation Dr. Prescila I. Marcelo, College of Business Management and Accountancy (CBMA) Dean Dr. Pelilia C. Veloso, BS Office Administration Program Head Mr. Edmon T. Fernandez, BS Business Administration Program Head Lourdes Z. Cruz, and the remaining faculty members of CBMA.

In the afternoon, Piator delivered an inspirational address to the members of the Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (JPIA) – UCU Chapter, as well as to third-year and fourth-year BSA students, aiming to uplift their spirits for the forthcoming board examination.
