UCU College of Human Sciences celebrated a remarkable achievement with a testimonial program held on October 29, 2024, at the Urdaneta Cultural Center and Sports Complex.
The event honored the success of its graduates, who recently excelled in national board examinations, producing 18 newly-registered social workers and 21 newly-registered psychometricians in the September 2024 Social Workers Board Examination and the August 2024 Psychometricians Licensure Examination, respectively.
The testimonial program aimed to recognize the hard work of the new board passers, inspire future social work and psychology students, and strengthen camaraderie between students and faculty members.
Two distinguished speakers highlighted the event: Evangeline N. Del Castillo, a 2013 UCUian Social Workers Licensure Examination passer and now a Municipal Social Welfare and Development Officer in Alcala, Pangasinan, delivered an inspiring message for the social work testimonial.
Meanwhile, Dr. Nhorly U. Domenden, Dean of the College of Human Sciences and the University Psychologist, addressed the psychology testimonial, sharing valuable insights and guidance.
The celebration not only underscored the college’s commitment to academic excellence but also highlighted the transformative impact of social work and psychology on communities. It served as a motivational platform for current students, encouraging them to follow in the footsteps of their successful peers while fostering a supportive and collaborative academic environment
