UCU-CRD conducts research agenda with coordinators

The UCU Center for Research and Development (CRD), under the leadership of Dr. Noel L. Guevara, spearheaded a comprehensive Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with the University's Research Coordinators on January 24, 2024, at the University Conference Room.

 

This collaborative session delved into an array of significant topics outlined in the agenda: (1) Unveiling the insights gathered in the 2023 Quarter 4 Report, providing a comprehensive overview of the University's research endeavors during this period; (2) Conducting an inventory of the College Journals, a critical step in assessing and cataloging the wealth of knowledge produced within the academic units; (3) Sharing updates on the progress of the University Research Journal, a platform pivotal for disseminating cutting-edge research findings and scholarly contributions; (4) Presenting the College Student Research Manual, a vital guide aimed at enhancing the research skills and capabilities of the university's student body; and (5) Addressing miscellaneous matters crucial to the effective functioning and advancement of research initiatives within the University.

 

The FGD served as a platform for fruitful discussions, and facilitated an exchange of valuable insights, paving the way for collective decision-making on matters crucial to the University's research landscape. The engagement highlighted the commitment of the CRD to continuous improvement and the promotion of a robust research culture within the academic community.
