UCU College of Teacher Education (CTE) recognized the achievements of 2,244 students during the 2nd PATHFit Course Completion Ceremony 2026 held at the Urdaneta City Cultural and Sports Complex on April 30, 2026.
Anchored on the theme “Fitness for Life: Commencing the Journey of Strength and Lifelong Wellness,” the ceremony honored students who successfully completed the Physical Activity Towards Health and Fitness (PATHFit) courses 1 to 4. Covering 69 subject codes, the program reflects the university’s strong commitment to integrating physical education into holistic student development.
As one of the best practices of the Physical Education Department under CTE, the PATHFit program sets UCU apart from other colleges and universities in Pangasinan by offering a structured, comprehensive approach to fitness and lifelong wellness.
Aligned with SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being and SDG 4: Quality Education, the initiative promotes physical fitness and preventive health while integrating wellness into the academic experience—reflecting Urdaneta City University’s commitment to student-centered programs that develop resilient, health-conscious individuals
