With the objective to provide non-teaching personnel with a comprehensive understanding of their duties and responsibilities in the academic community, the administration conducted an orientation program dedicated to all academic and administrative support staff on September 27-28, 2023 held at the UCU Cafeteria.
Regular and Part-Time non-teaching employees were scheduled on the first day, while Casual employees were scheduled for the second day. Topics such as Work Core Values, UCUPA Membership, Health and Sanitation Protocol, and Fringe Benefits, Compensation, Contract, and other personnel matters were discussed in the program.
In line with the endeavor’s objectives was the aim to create a sense of belonging among the non-teaching staff, as the main backbone of academic transactions and services. Each one was encouraged to consider themselves an integral part of the community, working hand-in-hand with the University, and providing a supportive learning environment for the students.
UCU continues to prioritize its employees as the institution continuously grows, ensuring quality and excellent standards for education and public service.
