Almera T. Rivera, BS Midwifery graduate, joined the hall of topnotchers after she successfully secured eighth place in the recent Midwife Licensure Examination last November 7-8.
Rivera shared the spot with Roxy B. Padamada from Jose Fabella Memorial Hospital School of Midwifery, earning an 88.30% passing rate.
Urdaneta City University recorded a 100% passing rate on its first takers against the 51.27% national rating.
As released by the Professional Regulation Commission, 908 new midwives are subject to take their oath of office, including our ten new midwives, namely: Mary Joyce E. Alfonso, RM, Joyce Q. Alvarado, RM; Janelle Melaine A. Baybayan, RM; Christine D. Biagtan, RM; Regie Mae M. Dionaldo, RM; Daniella Ashley Lorenzo, RM; Jessa M. Mirador, RM; Nicole Danielle P. Mallari, RM; Chabelita E. Zacarias, RM, and Almera T. Rivera RM, herself.
In November 2019 examinations, the College of Health Sciences, under Dean Christopher Bañez, secured its topnotcher in the name of Cristonuary A. Songcuan, RM. She garnered a nearly identical 88.55% passing rate with Rivera.
