WE DID IT AGAIN, UCUians!

Urdaneta City University is the Philippines’ Most Innovative University for the SECOND TIME in 2026 World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI), securing the following:

RANK 28 in the Global Top 500 Innovative Universities

RANK 1 among Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in the Philippines

RANK 1 among Local Universities and Colleges (LUCs) nationwide

RANK 1 in Region 1, and

RANK 1 in Pangasinan.

From its debut in 2024 at Rank 281 worldwide, UCU surged to Rank 44 in 2025 and now rises to Rank 28 globally in 2026, BACK-TO-BACK—emerging as one of the first Local Universities and Colleges (LUCs) in the country to achieve this global milestone and solidifying its place as the Philippines’ Most Innovative University.
