Urdaneta City University continues to redefine the landscape of Philippine higher education, securing RANK 28 worldwide among the Global Top 500 Innovative Universities in the 2026 World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI). This distinction was earned from a highly competitive pool of 13,211 innovative programs across 1,927 institutions in 96 countries worldwide.

With this achievement, UCU records a historic back-to-back recognition as the #1 Most Innovative University in the Philippines. More than the ranking itself, the university’s strength is reflected through its placements in 21 of 24 WURI categories, all within the Top 100, underscoring its consistency and breadth of excellence on the global stage.
