Selected faculty and non-teaching staff participated in a series of team-building activities on May 27-29, 2009 in Pagudpod, Ilocos Norte.

A commitment to actualize the university’s vision of serving the needs of the community spurred the Urdaneta City University to launch a series of extension programs.

“Responding to the needs of the community is a key tenet of UCU’s programs.  Through its various activities, UCU proves that it is a university with a social conscience,” said Dr. Elizabeth A. Montero, university president and chief architect of the programs.

Proofs of her statement abound in the university’s outreach programs for senior citizens, and children, including the children with special needs.
