CITE graduating students undergo FIIP ceremony

The College of Information and Technology Education conducted FIIP (From Intern to Industry Professional) ceremony, a culminating program aimed at accelerating the industry progress of the 2024 graduating class, bringing together students, faculty members, and industry experts, on June 11, 2024 held at the University Gymnasium. 

 

Mr. Khrys Laurence Bautista, RN, the Campus Director of Every Nation Campus Urdaneta, led an insightful session on managing emotional well-being among recent graduates. Meanwhile, Ms. Gretchen A. Garcia, MIT, the Software Engineering Associate Manager at Accenture, shared valuable industry insights. Her presentation covered building professional networks, essential professional skills, career planning and goal setting, and tips on how to apply for a job in the IT sector.

 

The event featured a series of workshops and panel discussions focused on various aspects of career development, including resume building, interview techniques, networking strategies, and the latest industry trends. Leading tech companies and organizations participated, offering valuable insights and advice to the soon-to-be graduates.

 

The soon-to-be graduates expressed their gratitude for the comprehensive education and support they received from CITE, which prepared them for the challenges and opportunities in the tech industry, and eventually become professional contributors to the ever-evolving tech industry.
