In a bid to fortify the skills of both pre-service and in-service teachers in responding to the dynamic challenges of the 21st century, Urdaneta City University (UCU) hosted an International Seminar and Workshop at the UCU Amphitheater on December 9, 2023.
The event, themed "Responding to the Challenges of the 21st Century through Effective Instructional Activities," drew educators and scholars from across the globe.
The panel of speakers included luminaries in the field of education: Dr. Joselito Gutierrez from Saint Louis University, Dr. Mosharaff Hosen from UCSI University in Malaysia, Dr. Pratik Mungekar from CCOL – London, United Kingdom, Dr. Rommel Tibula from Kasetsart University in Thailand, and Dr. Ryan Jayson Delos Reyes from the hosting Urdaneta City University.
Before the third and fourth-year Education students, each speaker delivered a wealth of experience and expertise, presenting a comprehensive array of instructional activities and strategies designed to navigate the intricacies of modern teaching.
The seminar's objective was to furnish pre-service teachers with a versatile toolkit of instructional activities and strategies, adeptly addressing the multifaceted challenges of the 21st century.
