iPhiTech empowers UCUian IT students, promotes personal branding

UCU-College of Information and Technology, in partnership with International Philippine Technologies (iPhiTech), hosted a motivational seminar for Information Technology and Computer Science students in their second to fourth years. The seminar had the theme "Code and Charisma: The Gen-Z Guide to IT Personal Branding" and took place on August 31, 2023, at the UCU-CITE Laboratories.

The event commenced with iPhiTech's visual presentation, which set the stage for an enlightening exploration of personal branding in the IT world. Dr. Arnel Ocay, a faculty member of CITE, delivered the opening remarks, emphasizing the significance of personal branding in today's tech-savvy world.

Dr. Josephine S. Lambinicio, VP for Academic Affairs, delivered an inspirational message, encouraging attendees to embrace their unique qualities within the IT industry.

Participating in "Code & Charisma" equipped attendees with a competitive edge by providing personalized insights into effective personal branding strategies. They learned to amplify their digital presence, refine their communication skills, and build a robust network while crafting compelling narratives that resonate in the industry.

The seminar itself, led by Sir Mark Enriquez, President of iPhiTech IT and Digital Solutions Corporation, promised a day of insightful learning and knowledge exchange, with takeaways such as (1) the power of personal branding, (2) navigating through the digital landscape, (3) effective communication in the digital age, (4) networking and connections, and (5) storytelling techniques, to name a few.

Consequently, the event culminated in a ceremonial Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing, sealing the partnership between CITE and iPhiTech, symbolizing a commitment to collaborative success.
