UCU conducts career orientation for graduating students, collabs with international agencies

In a thrive to prepare students in their future endeavor before they step out of the University, Urdaneta City University, with international collaboration of DATEM Inc., ENOZ Philippines Inc., and Tenma Hospital Group, conducted a career orientation and exclusive recruitment activities for the graduating students on May 2, 2024 at the UCU Gymnasium. 

 

A Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) was signed between Urdaneta City University and three different companies from Japan, South Korea and Philippines to help students find opportunities for international exposure relevant to their future careers. 

 

Present at the MOA signing were the Acting University President, Dr. Amihan April C. Mella-Alcazar, and the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Josephine Lambinicio, together with various university officials and college deans, demonstrating their support and commitment to this initiative.

 

Representatives from different companies introduce their organization through audio-visual presentation and testimonial of various employees to encourage graduating UCUians to explore and broaden overseas employment options.

 

After the orientation, interested students were able to submit their resumes to their desired companies that align with their career aspirations and have the opportunity to secure placements in those organizations.

 

This orientation serves as a networking platform to inspire students and help them make informed decisions that enrich their careers while also aiming to build early connections that can open doors to potential job offers in the future.
