Urdaneta City University conducted a faculty research colloquium with the theme, “Inclusive Innovation and Cultural Resilience: Advancing Faculty Research for Sustainable Development in the Era of Teaching and Industry 4.0” on November 28, 2024 held at the University Amphitheater, bringing together UCUian educators, researchers, and graduate students.
The colloquium commenced with a plenary talk by Dr. Gladys M. Navarro, a renowned expert in sustainable development and educational innovation. Dr. Navarro emphasized the importance of research that not only embraces technological advancements but also upholds cultural resilience and inclusivity.
Key segments of the event included:
● Presentation of Guidelines: Clarifying research protocols and expectations for participants.
● Poster Pitching: Faculty and graduate students presented research concepts visually, fostering creative and succinct communication.
● Oral Presentations: A series of detailed research findings shared by faculty members, highlighting innovative approaches and solutions.
● Research Dissemination by Graduate Students: Graduate researchers shared insights from their studies, demonstrating the university’s strong emphasis on mentoring the next generation of scholars.
