Urdaneta City University conducted Project ARAPAAP: Aspiring Realities And Possibilities Among Ambitious People on March 16, 2026 to guide Grade 12 students from Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) families toward higher education opportunities.
The university held the activity at the University Gymnasium in collaboration with the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) to help address barriers that often prevent 4Ps students from pursuing college education.
Participants joined a campus tour and college orientation that introduced UCU’s academic programs, financial assistance, and student support services.
Representatives from different colleges and guidance professionals also provided practical advice to help students prepare for college and envision themselves as future university students.
The initiative supports SDG 1 (No Poverty), SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) by promoting inclusive access to higher education and strengthening partnerships that empower youth.
